There are no egg banks in Canada. And in Canada, IVF clinics do not match egg donors and Intended Parents (IPs). You will find that in the US, and some other countries, that you can donate your eggs in this way. The biggest difference between these options and an egg donor agency is that you won’t get any say in who gets your eggs, and it is less likely that you could continue a relationship with them or the donor conceived child. You would donate your eggs and get paid before knowing who your eggs will go to. In this sense, it may be more or less desirable for the egg donor, depending on what is more important
to them.
